Jackie Greene lit up The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park with a performance that blended heartfelt Americana with rootsy rock ‘n’ roll swagger. Backed by a tight and seasoned band, Greene moved effortlessly between guitar, piano, and harmonica, each instrument a channel for his rich, soulful voice and vivid storytelling. The setlist pulled from across his deep catalog, with fan favorites like “Shaken” and “Like a Ball and Chain” drawing loud applause from the packed room. His stage presence was understated yet magnetic, the kind that commands attention not with flash, but with authenticity.
Two full sets of music somehow left fans both full and wanting more. This was a special night for an artist who has toured the world but came up in the Bay Area music scene. Looking forward to the cookout show at Hopmonk Novato later this summer!
