Memorial Day weekend is just a few days away and with it Boston Calling 2025. Dave Matthews Band, Fall Out Boy, and Luke Combs will headline the three-day festival that takes place at Harvard Athletic Complex in Cambridge, MA. The line-up highlights a mix of genres and artists, including many familiar icons in the music scene.

Friday, May 23rd
The festival kicks off Friday with a heavy country theme, showcasing Luke Combs and Megan Moroney. Combs is fresh off a release of his newest single “Back Up Plan” featuring Bailey Zimmerman, and is a staple in the country realm. Moroney is a rising star in country music, who gained significant popularity following her hit song “Tennessee Orange” in 2022. Her “Am I Okay?” tour is only increasing her following as she has sold out iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall. Friday however is not all country, and I’m personally excited to see T-Pain take the stage. His incredible performance at Coachella certainly upped the excitement. He’s a versatile artist that I’m looking forward to seeing put on a performance. Doors open at 1:00 pm.

Oh me, oh my, time to bring it back to 2014. Fall Out Boy. Avril Lavigne. All Time Low. The Maine. James Bay. Cage the Elephant. It’s a Tumblr girl’s dream. As a former Warped Tour attendee I’m quite pleased with this line up that highlights both established and emerging artists. The headliners include Fall Out Boy and Avril Lavigne. Fall Out Boy is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their iconic album From Under the Cork Tree, expect a set filled with fan favorites and high-octane energy. Avril Lavigne is sure to hit the stage with a set that promises to be both nostalgic and electrifying. Her music is truly timeless. Other notable acts include Cage The Elephant, a band known for their dynamic performances, they bring their unique blend of alternative rock to the stage. The Black Crowes deliver a classic Southern rock sound and add a touch of bluesy grit to the day’s lineup. All Time Low, a personal long-time favorite of mine, is sure to get the crowd moving and bring an energetic set. James Bay is a British singer-songwriter who offers a more introspective set with his soulful melodies. The Maine brings their alternative rock flair and will continue to captivate audiences with their evolving sound. We also have a diverse mix of emerging artists showcasing their talent including: Valley, Mon Rovîa, Amble, SOFIA ISELLA, Timmy Skelly, Simon Robert French, Rebuilder, sidebody, PINKLIDS.
