For Fleetwood Mac fans, last Saturday night at The Chapel in San Francisco was the place to be. Basking in the love- soaked vibes of Pride’s celebratory weekend, Fleetwood Macrame absolutely glowed on stage. They’re the Fleetwood Mac cover band that I didn’t know I needed in my life. One delightfully played hit after another had a sold out Chapel crowd swooning. The room was packed from floor to balcony with blissed out people singing and joyously embracing. Fleetwood Macrame’s fantastic tribute cast a spell, and a dance party ensued. The ensemble is comprised of serious talent in the form of five members who have been playing together for over a decade : Linda Moody (as Stevie Nicks), Jai Bird (as Mic Fleetwood), Tori Fulkerson-Jones (as John McVie), Owen Adair Kelley (as Lindsey Buckingham), and Lindsay Everley (as Christine McVie). Their harmonies are perfect and their presence is electric. Fleetwood Mac is not an easy band to emulate but Fleetwood Macrame skillfully steps into the role, shining with confidence and triumph.
