Playing the first of two sold-out shows Monday night at The Chapel was Noah Benjamin Lennox, also known by his moniker Panda Bear. Noah is an American musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and co-founding member of the band Animal Collective. Noah has released six solo LPs since 1999. He is currently touring an promoting his latest critically acclaimed album ‘Sinister Grift‘.
Panda Bear has a very loyal fan base. I spoke with a number of fans who came from long distance to see both shows. Panda Bear’s delivered a heart-warming performance to his fans. Panda Bear sounded great live with his rich textured guitar sounds, Reggae drum beats and beautiful harmonic vocals that gave it a very summer at the beach feel.

Chris Cohen is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. In addition to his long solo career, Chris was a member of the band Deerhoof between 2002 and 2006. His latest album, ‘Paint a Room‘ was release in 2024. Chris’s music is both lush and mellow, with a touch of psychedelic and folk influences.
