Psychedelic Porn Crumpets turned The Catalyst Club into a full-blown psychedelic madhouse during their Santa Cruz stop. From the first fuzzy riff, the Aussie rockers had the crowd in a frenzy, whipping up a tornado of heavy grooves, mind-bending guitars, and pure chaotic energy. Frontman Jack McEwan commanded the room with his signature wild-eyed charisma, while the band locked into a relentless, high-voltage rhythm that barely gave anyone a chance to catch their breath. When they tore into fan favorites like “Found God in a Tomato,” the room absolutely erupted.

The energy stayed at a fever pitch all night, and by the time they unleashed “Cornflake” during the encore, it felt like the whole place might blast off into another dimension. Fans were moshing, crowd-surfing, and shouting every word, fully locked into the psychedelic mayhem. With the Catalyst’s great sightlines and sound filling every inch of the space, the night was a reminder why Psychedelic Porn Crumpets’ live shows are pure, euphoric chaos — and why you never leave one the same way you walked in.
