Seeing Limit to Your Love live is a hell of an experience.
The 15(!) year old song has been a mainstay on James Blake‘s setlist ever since he covered it on his debut album (it’s a cover of a Feist song, although heavily stripped back. It’s a completely different version). There are songs where his vocals sound cleaner and where the bass drop is heavier but the feeling of hearing his voice and piano fade out only to be met with the whole venue vibrating to a wave of WUBWUBWUBWUBUWBUBW only to hear him singing straight through that bass is eye opening at the very least. It’s the perfect balance of his voice which obviously still sounds wonderful and a bass that shook the concrete foundation of the Greek the entire show, I’m curious what the surrounding houses might’ve thought was going on there.

Swavay opened it and tried his darnedest to hype the crowd up but this was clearly one group of people that wasn’t feeling what he was putting down, although I appreciate the attempt.
