I’m almost certain the Grammy Nomination for God Does Like Ugly that JID received a few days ago isn’t the reason he was able to sell out the Masonic, but I know it didn’t hurt.
As one of the most consistent artists of the past decade with some of the best hip hop albums these days, it’s impressive to see him translate that to such an kinetic performance that the crowd was able to match in energy.
