Electric Callboy’s stop at The Masonic last night was pretty straightforward in the best way. No filler, just a full room and a set that moved.
Polaris and Scene Queen handled the earlier sets and got things going early. By the time Electric Callboy came on, the floor was already packed in and ready for it.
Their set leaned into what they do without overcomplicating it. High energy the whole way through, quick transitions, and a setlist that kept shifting between heavier moments and the more electronic tracks without losing momentum.
There’s a lot happening onstage, but it stays controlled. Confetti hits at the right moments, costume changes come and go without slowing anything down, and the whole thing feels paced out rather than chaotic for the sake of it.
The room fit it well. Big enough for the production, still close enough to catch the details and feel the crowd moving together.
No big speech, no drawn-out pauses. They came out, ran through a fun, tight set, and left it there.
