I have to say I made a mistake by not coming to the Bottom of the Hill more often around Halloween because they really deck the place out more than almost every other venue in SF. It’s also interesting to see concerts around this time because you see more and more bands start dressing up on stage and getting into the spirit, and the crowd even more so. Pinkshift didn’t go for costumes but put on a rollicking amazing show, pumping through their new album to a sold out crowd that raged through each track, most of which was off of the latest album.

LustSickPuppy on the other hand COMPLETELY went for the Halloween theme. They came as a Murder Nurse and, appropriately on theme, absolutely killed their set. They’ve been an act I’ve been meaning to see and I was not disappointed.

Doflame opened the night and they felt like one of the most “Headliner” opening acts I’ve seen so far this year as they completely got everyone going with some intense performances. I hadn’t even heard of them before this show but I immediately got hooked.
