The Big Picnic weekend, Stern Grove’s two-day finale, opened with a reggae-flavored afternoon featuring Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley with Stephen Marley, and J Boog.
The Marley brothers brought their Traffic Jam Tour to the Grove. Opening the set with “10,000 Chariots” and the title track “Traffic Jam” before settling into an easy rhythm, trading vocals with natural chemistry. Their set wove originals alongside Bob Marley classics like “So Much Trouble in the World” and “Is This Love,” and closed on a high note with “Could You Be Loved.”
Opening the show, J Boog added a Pacific Island flair, infusing the crowd with messages of love, unity, and aloha.
