Chloe Qisha is a Malaysian-born, UK-based alternative pop artist. She describes her songs as a kind of ‘nostalgic’ alternative pop. Chloe Qisha is one of the most exciting emerging pop artists in the UK right now, celebrated for sharp songwriting, 80s-inflected production, and a distinctly witty, emotionally honest voice.
Taking the stage on April 1st for a sold-out crowd at the Brick and Mortar Music Hall Chloe Qisha leaned into the room’s close quarters creating a set that felt personal from the very first note. This is Chloe Qisha’s first US tour and visit to San Francisco and the audience welcomed her with open arms. Her stage presence mirrored the venue’s energy: unpretentious, warm, intimate and immersive. The venue’s small capacity amplified every detail of her performance creating a connection which felt magnetic.
Chloe engaged the the audience throughout her performance and even invited an excited member of the audience to join her on stage for one of her songs. Chloe Qisha’s performance was fun, energetic and ended way too soon for the audience leaving them wanting more.
